Driver sacked for errors in garbage lifting

REWARI: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Yashendra Singh today terminated the services of dumper driver Naveen Kumar and ordered departmental action against sanitary inspector Satyendra for committing negligence in the dumping of garbage.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Yashendra Singh today terminated the services of dumper driver Naveen Kumar and ordered departmental action against sanitary inspector Satyendra for committing negligence in the dumping of garbage.

The DC, along with Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associate Somaiya Gupta, visited the garbage dumping point near the BMG Mall today to take stock of sanitary condition.

As per standing orders, garbage was to be transported to the main dumping station in Ram Singhpura village here by covering it with plastic cover in a dumper, but the garbage was lifted without any cover when the DC reached there.

Yashendra terminated the services of the dumper driver and ordered departmental action against the sanitary inspector.
