Siwani town to be included in Hisar district

Hisar, July 9

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced today that Siwani town of Bhiwani would be included in Hisar district.

He was speaking during the 68th state-level Van Mahotsav at Siwani today.

For the past 21 years, People of Siwani town and surrounding villages have been demanding inclusion in Hisar district instead of Bhiwani for 21 years.

The Chief Minister said a special plan was being prepared in the Loharu-Siwani area for water conservation, which would be implemented soon. He said national-level coaches and sports facilities would be provided at the Bahal stadium. Veterinary hospital would be started at the Siwani gaushala.

The Chief Minister announced Rs 10 crore for the development of villages of the Loharu Assembly constituency and Rs 5 crore for the Loharu and Siwani municipalities. — TNS
