“Kin of Samuel Masih, alias Sunny Masih, were well aware of his criminal activities. A police team from Himachal Pradesh had conducted a raid on his house at Dhedhowal village last week,” said Mohali SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal on Monday.

The SSP said it was not the first such raid. “As Sunny was a proclaimed offender, several such raids were also conducted earlier by the HP police,” said SSP Chahal, adding that a case under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act was registered against him at the Nagreta
