Botswana team visits police Hq

Shimla, February 26

A delegation, headed by Bokhutlo Mudukanele, director of the Road Transport Department, Botswana, visited the police headquarters here today to ascertain the practical capability of the Road Accident Data Management System (RADMS).

The RADMS will help identify mishap-prone spots, reasons for accidents, data collection and analysis and steps for taking remedial action.

Earlier, the delegation had visited the Transport Research Lab, London, which had made a software for RADMS. Himachal is the pioneer state in implementation of the project. — TNS
