I am from South and on a visit to Himachal Pradesh. I am appalled to see the condition of the scenic hills. Locals and tourists coming from other places do not even think once before littering the hill station. Plastic, garbage and papers are seen at every nook and corner. Can strict fines be imposed on these people who don’t respect nature? There are a lot of notices and boards, asking people not to litter, but there is no check. Can the authorities please do something about it?.

Dagshai road in need of repairs
The cantonment authorities of Dagshai have turned a blind eye towards the bad condition of roads, it seems. The road linking Dagshai to the nearby areas is in need of repairs. It is full of potholes and motorists have a tough time commuting on the stretch at night. The road connecting Kumarhatti and Dosarka is also damaged. The authorities should repair the stretches at the earliest.

Demand for medical store
Residents of Rewalsar have urged the government to open a medical store on the premises of the community health centre here. Due to lack of government medical stores, they have to purchase medicines from private stores at higher prices. The state government should open a medical store at the community health centre so that patients are able to get medicines on subsidised rates.
