Animal Planet in its new series Bahama Blue takes viewers on a world exploration, where everything is eating or being eaten but fierce competition gives way to playful and funny creatures. The first stop is the Bahamas, which is a magical place where plants are sprinkled with shimmering dust and seahorses feed, almost without fear.
Captured in 4k cinematography, combined with intimate aerials, extraordinary macro- photography and signature ‘tide lapses’, Animal Planet’s Bahama Blue showcases the Bahamas like you’ve never seen it before! Some of the places that Animal Planet will explore are the Blue Holes and Caves, which are hidden away beneath the surface of the Bahamian Archipelago and house some of the most dangerous underwater creatures. The show will also take viewers on a tour of the Open Water that makes up nearly half of the area of the Bahamas. Some of the most rarely seen species like the Oceanic White Tip Shark, Sperm Whale and even the reclusive Blainesville Beaked Whale make this area their home. You can also witness the seascape created by the Bahamian Coral Reefs. Bahama Blue will air Monday to Friday at 10 pm on Animal Planet.
