The Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh, launched ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Reignited Scholarship’ for engineering aspirants at a function here today.

Prof BS Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges, said the scholarship would be given to 50 meritorious girls and 50 boys.
Sidhu said in the year 2012, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam honoured the college with ‘excellence of education" award in Ranchi and motivated the Aryans group to help the underprivileged youth of India in making their dream come true.
He said: “We are entering into our 10th year and now are in a position to support the youth.”
Bedi said the group had started many other scholarship schemes to support students from financially weaker sections.
