Bathinda, April 17

The last date to apply online for various postgraduate and doctoral programs of the Central University of Punjab (CUP) through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) has been extended to April 20.

Kanwal Pal Singh, controller of examinations, said the last date to apply through the CUCET 2019 had been extended to April 20.

He asserted that a large number of students had already applied online to appear for the CUCET 2019. He added that it seemed some students had not completed their online application submission process due to which the authorities extended the last date of applying online.

Students can submit their online application till April 20 to appear for the CUCET. It will be held on May 25 and 26.

In the 2019-20 academic session, the Central University of Punjab is inviting online applications in 42 master level and 30 PhD programmes.

The authorities said students could visit the university’s official website — www.cup.edu.in — to check details of various programmes provided under its various schools such as basic and applied sciences, education, engineering and technology, environmental and earth sciences, global relations, health sciences, language literature and culture, legal studies and governance and social sciences.
