An entrance examination in offline mode for the recruitment to posts of head constable in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was conducted at Ludhiana Group of Colleges (LGC), Chowkimann, near Jagraon, today.

The examination was outsourced to OMR India Outsources Pvt Ltd. As many as 1,512 candidates, who had come from far off places from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, appeared in the examination.

The competitive examination was conducted smoothly and in a fair manner in the three wings, including engineering, management and polytechnic, of the institution under the supervision of college director, Dr JK Chawla, and Principal, Dr AK Singh, with active and full support of its teaching and the non-teaching staff.
