Ludhiana: Manav Rachna International School organised a circus show for the students to enjoy a vibrant magical show. Entry to witness the ‘Circus Fun’ was available by issuing a ticket at a ticket counter. The fun show full of entertainment began with the entry of their teacher dressed as a musical clown showcasing variety of expressions. Everybody had a hearty laugh at his tricks and the children tapped their toes on the dance numbers. It was a mesmerising experience for children to explore the colorful world of circus. TNS

Annual Sports Day 

The playground of Planet E Senior Secondary School, Khanna, was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolic some atmosphere as the school celebrated its Annual Sports Day. The celebrations commenced with lightening of Sports Torch, flag hoisting and oath-taking ceremony. The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events. They mesmerised the audience with their energetic performances, The Yog Asanas, The Arobics, Ball exercise, Holla Hoops, Kangaroo Race, Pick and Arrange cones etc. remained as the main attraction of the mega event. The Chief Guest Dr. Chander Shekhar, IPS Former Director General of Police, Punjab, PK Bhardwaj General Secretory of Punjab Pradesh Congress Guest of Honour, School Managing Directors Munish Kumar Dhawan graced the occasion with their presence. The school Principal Suman Arora in hear key note address emphasised that Annual Sports Day is a Red letter Day in each child’s life and how important sports are in child’s life. TNS

Students do it again

The journey of achieving the milestones continue in Tagore Public School as the young Tagorians keep the name of the school flying high by winning trophies and cash awards. In the Sahodaya Drawing and Painting Competition. Pushkar Jain of Class VII won the consolation Prize and Komal Bedi also of class VII won the cash prize of Rs 500 in the Vivekanand Moral Education Competition organized by Prerna Peeth Organization. Story-telling competition 

Sahodya Story Telling Competition was organised at Shamrock Christian Senior Secondary School Hambran Road. It was organised both in Hindi and English language. As many as 22 CBSE schools participated in the competition. Each contestant gave its best. Some stories were full of humour, while some were emotional. Students not only told the stories vividly, but also provided great personal interpretation. Each story narrated, conveyed a wonderful message. The judge for the English story competition was Rachna Chanana - a professional trainer with an experience of 17 years in the field of education. For the Hindi story competition, the judge was Savita Sharma, a senior Hindi teacher. The competition was conducted in perfect ambience in the activity hall. The Principal P Singh congratulated the winners and praised all the participants. TNS

Indian Navy Day observed

Indian Navy Day was observed at Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, to pay tributes to the courage and determination of the Indian Navy and also to celebrate its achievements. The students were told about the vital role of Navy in securing the marine borders as well as for the betterment of International relations via joint exercises, humanitarian missions and calamity relief, among others. They were also told about the story of Indian Navy behind the heroism that brought victory to India in the Indo-Pakistan war. The students of Class VII and VIII spoke on the contribution of Navy and recited poems dedicated to the Indian Navy. Baldeep Pandher, Principal of the school, lauded the efforts of students and encouraged them to join the armed forces of the nation. TNS
