Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, set up the title clash by defeating Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, Rajasthan, 15-0. Sainik School, Amravati Nagar, lost the match to Dr Amrit Lal IMS, Varanasi, 0-5 in the 24th CBSE National Hockey Tournament.

Recipient of Arjuna Award, former hockey player and coach of Indian women junior hockey team Baljeet Singh Saini inaugurated Tuesday’s matches.

Baljeet congratulated the school authorities for organising the hockey meet. He said, “I can see the future players in this ground who will definitely represent their country.”

In the U-17 girls’ category, Satchidananda Jyothi Nikethan International School, Kallar, defeated St Pauls, Rampur, by 5-0. General Raj’s School, New Delhi, defeated Birla Shishu Vihar, Rajasthan. Little Angels School, Sonipat, thrashed Police Modern School, Etawah, by 17-0. Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, defeated OP Jindal School, Raigarh, by 2-0. Convent Gurukul, Kurukshetra, thrashed Satchidananda Jyothi Nikethan International School, Kallar, by 8-1. Little Angles School, Sonipat overpowered Saint Paul’s School, Rampur by 7-0. In the U-17 girls, Birla Shishu Vidya Vihar, Rajasthan, outperformed OP Jindal, Raigarh, by 3-0. Satchidananda Jyothi Nikethan International School, Kallar, won against Police Modern School, Etawah, by 18-0.

In the U-17 boys’ category, Sainik School, Goal Para, Assam, thrashed JKG International School, Ghaziabad, by 5-1. Indian School Almaabela, Muscat, lost their match against Vijay Central APS, Jaipur, by 5-0. Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, won against Vijay Central Academy, Jaipur, by 4-1. Som Convent Gurukul thrashed Sainik School, Goal Para, Assam, with 9-0. JKG International School, Ghaziabad, thrashed Satchidananda Jyothi Nikethan International School, Kallar.

In the U-19 boys’ category, Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, overpowered Gurukul School, Ghaziabad, by 4-0. Dr Amrit Lal IMS, Varanasi, thrashed Som Convent Gurukul by 3-2. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, Rajasthan, won against Indian School Alseeb, Muscat, with 2-0. Gurukul School, Ghaziabad, defeated Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Muscat by 3-0.

In the U-19 girls’ category, Daly College defeated Krishna Public School 18-0. OP Jindal School, Raigarh, lost the match against Som Convent Gurukul by 3-1. SRVM, Haridwar, thrashed Daly College, Indore, by 3 -0.
