Ludhiana: Students of Saint Bir Santosh Public School have brought laurels to the institution by securing second and third position in an inter-school math quiz organised at Ryan International School, Dugri. Students of Class VI to VIII of the school participated in the competition. Students of Class VII claimed third position while students of Class VIII came second.
Session on effective public speaking
Members of Speakers’ Club of Ryan International School participated in a session on effective public speaking. The spokesperson for the session was Gurjot Singh, youth speaker and debater. He addressed students and briefed them about effective public-speaking techniques. He elaborated the importance of voice modulation, scale of speech, vocabulary usage, grammatical accuracy and body language. He also explained students how to prepare for debates, declamation and MUNs.
Silver for GNPS in football
Football players of Guru Nanak Public School, Mullanpur, grabbed second position in a state-level football competition. Arshpreet Singh and Chirayou Malhotra got silver in the U-14 category.
School takes responsibility of park
Adarsh Public School has adopted a park located in front of a Shiv temple located near Kapil Park. The school has taken the responsibility to maintain this park with the help of some Municipal Corporation workers.
