Ludhiana: Planet E Senior Secondary School conducted a poem recitation competition from Class I to XI with the aim to explore the hidden talent of the students beyond the books. The students were given various topics such as, nature, corruption and female foeticides . All students enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Principal Suman Arora appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and encourgaed them to participate in such competitions.
Prize distribution function held
The annual co-curricular prize distribution function of Primary wing of Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, was organised on Sunday on the school campus. As many as 250 students from class Nursery to Class V were given prizes for excelling in various co-curricular activities in the year 2016 - 2017. The students were presented mementos and certificates for securing I, II and III in different activities. While congratulating the students, Harmeet Kaur Waraich, said, "It is amazing to see that so many students are receiving prizes. This reflects their creativity. I wish them the best and hope they continue to polish their skills in future. TNS
