Satinder Sartaaj to perform in city on Saturday
Ludhiana, October 2
The live concert of Sufi and folk singer Satinder Sartaaj will be held on October 5 at Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium, PAU, here.
The Punjab Cultural Society is organising the concert. Earlier, the society founder-president, Ravinder Ranguwal, had announced that a competition would be organised online where anyone (no age barrier) could add their video of their song on the society’s Facebook page (fb.me/PunjabCulturalSociety) and the winners would be declared on the day of the concert.
According to Ranguwal, the entry to the event would be through pass. The Punjab Cultural Society has decided to honour poet laureate Dr Surjit Patar with the Shah Hussain Award on October 5, society vice-president Lucky Grewal said. — TNS
