New Delhi: A ‘leap second’ was added to the Indian clock at 5:29.59 hours on Sunday to synchronise with the Earth’s rotational clock. As the atomic clock at the National Physical Laboratory struck 23:59:59 on Saturday, it was programmed to add an extra second to 2017 to compensate for a slowdown in the Earth’s rotation. Patanjali biggest ‘disruptive force in FMCG’
New Delhi: Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved was the biggest disruptive force in India’s fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) market. “It witnessed an annual growth of 146% in fiscal 2016, grossing a turnover of $769 million, whereas its peers struggled to get a growth much less than double digit,” said an Assocham-TechSci research report.
