BHUBANESWAR: Former parliamentarian from Odisha and Congress leader Frida Topno passed away here on Tuesday at the age of 92.

Bhubaneswar, February 6

Former parliamentarian from Odisha and Congress leader Frida Topno passed away here on Tuesday at the age of 92.

According to party leaders, Topno, who served as a Lok Sabha member for two terms from Sundergarh parliamentary constituency in 1991 and 1996, died at her residence.

Her body will be taken to her hometown Sundergarh later in the day.

She was also elected to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha in 1998. IANS
