Engine of the Sealdah-Ajmer Superfast passenger train on Saturday caught fire at Parasia crossing near Kishangarh railway station. No casualty occurred as the train was taken to another railway station by its driver.

The train was on way to Ajmer when the engine’s lube oil leaked and caught fire around 7.30 am near Kishangarh, CPRO NWR Tarun Jain told The Tribune.

The driver took the train to Gegal where the fire was doused after shunting out passenger coaches.

This, however, created panic among passengers of the front coaches. After an hour another engine was brought to pull the train towards Ajmer.
