Summer Valley shooters excel in national event

Shooters of Summer Valley School, who took part in the National Inter-School Shooting Championship 2015, held in New Delhi, have brought laurels to the state as well as the school. More than 6,000 shooters from all over the country participated in the competition.

Five shooters of Summer Valley School, namely Shrishti Bhargava, Prachi Bhandari, Muskan Uniyal, Anshika Saxena and Kanan Verma, won bronze medals. Three of them Shrishti Bhargava, Aavrit Bagga and Arjun Sharma have qualified for the National Open Championship to be held in New Delhi in December.

Nine of the school’s shooters have also been selected to take part in the upcoming North Zone Championship to be held in November.
