Former INLD MLA Rekha Rana’s petrol pump looted at gunpoint

Two bike-borne miscreants looted a petrol pump of former INLD MLA Rekha Rana at gunpoint in Gharaunda.
They escaped with around Rs 70,000. It is the second incident of looting of a petrol pump in the last 24 hours exposing the poor law and order situation in the district.
On Saturday evening, three bike-borne youths looted the petrol pump of RN Chandna near Namastey Chowk.
The incident was also captured on CCTV. The police have taken the manager, Kuldeep, for questioning and CCTV footage at Gharaunda police station.
As per information, two bike-borne youths wearing masks entered in the cabin of the manager and took around Rs 70,000 at gunpoint.
Confirming the incident, Sachin Kumar, SHO Gharaunda, said they have started investigation.
Police teams, including two of CIA, have been making efforts to nab them. The robbers fled towards Panipat. Meanwhile, barricading of the district has been done.
