KULLU: The police have destroyed weed grown over 4,843 bighas during an anti-cannabis campaign launched on August 6.

The police have destroyed weed grown over 4,843 bighas during an anti-cannabis campaign launched on August 6. Kullu SP Gaurav Singh said volunteers from various anti-drug committees, Mahila Mandals, Yuvak Mandals, Community Policing, Sahbhagita Aapki Aur Hamari along with teams of police and Narcotics Control Bureau were engaged during the campaign with assistance from the revenue and forest departments. — OC
