Centre delaying state’s GST share: Manpreet

MOHALI: Finance Minister Manpreet Badal today demanded immediate release of state GST from the Centre to save the state from financial distress.

Finance Minister Manpreet Badal today demanded immediate release of state GST from the Centre to save the state from financial distress. The minister was in the town to attend an interaction event with the industry organised by Invest Punjab ahead of Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2019.

Manpreet said the Centre was responsible for mismanagement of the economy. Lauding the state government, he said it remained successful in eradicating inspector raj from the state. “The revival of Industry has taken place and the development is evident from Rs 50,000 crore worth of investment materialising in the last over two years,” he said. — TNS
