Chandigarh:Former Financial Commissioner NS Kang was appointed as the chairman of the Punjab Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), official sources said. An official said the development followed CM Capt Amarinder Singh recently giving his nod for the notification of rules for implementation of the RERA Act, 2016 in the state. Kang, who till recently served on a central deputation, was expected to join his office early next week, the sources said. tns
