The SGPC today stopped the shooting of a song at the Golden Temple entrance plaza. The move came after pictures of the shooting surfaced on social media.

Hollywood actress Lauren Gottlieb was seen shooting for the song at the newly constructed plaza.

The dance sequence was shot for Punjabi film “Ambarsaria”. This film’s star cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Monika Bedi, Gul Panag and Gurpreet Ghugi.

The SGPC has directed the film unit to remove the scenes shot at the plaza before releasing the film. The film director has assured to comply with the directions.

The permission to shot the song was granted by the police. SGPC’s additional secretary Daljit Singh Bedi said: “We learnt that the police had granted the permission without informing other stakeholders. The SGPC chief called up film director Mandeep Kumar and directed him to delete all scenes shot at the plaza before releasing the film.”
