Rising India Youth Organisation (RIYO) inaugurated its mega movement. A month-long initiative is full of youth oriented events like quiz Bharat Ko Jaano, flag march from Solan to Barog in which 20 feet tall Flag will be unfurled on a mountain peak, dance competition, youth conclave and events for social welfare like tree plantation, cleanliness drive and blood donation camp. RIYO President, Neeraj Pant shared, “This movement was a great success last year. We further aim at spreading from 15,000 to 50,000 this year with more leap towards an overall personality development of the students”.
The main event will take place in mid-august with a pledge taken by masses on national integrity — all united by wearing Tiranga bands which further strengthens the feeling of unity, integrity and belongingness to one nation by recitation of National Anthem. The inauguration ceremony will be graced by the presence of Kirron Kher, Assistant Solicitor General Chetan Mittal, Capt Bhupinder Singh (Vir Chakra) and prominent social worker Vivek Bharti on July 15 at 6pm at Law Auditorium Ground, Panjab University. — TNS
