A workshop on "Stress management during exams" was held at Mother India Senior Secondary School, RS Pura. While addressing the students, Kuldeep Sharma, Director, Phoenix Classes, Jammu, held a thread-bare discussion on stress with students of the school.

A workshop on "Stress management during exams" was held at Mother India Senior Secondary School, RS Pura. While addressing the students, Kuldeep Sharma, Director, Phoenix Classes, Jammu, held a thread-bare discussion on stress with students of the school. He made this workshop very interactive by involving the students in the discussion.

Students bag medals 

Students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, have brought laurels to the institution by winning 7 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals in the 18th State Matsogi-Do Championship which was held at Sai International School, Kathua and Shri Ram Universal School, Jakh, recently. The gold medal winner students were Sourav Kumar, Pranav Rajput, Aakriti, Sayam, Rahul Roy, Sneha and Vanshika. Silver medal was bagged by Aditya Sharma, Ankush, Soham Singh and Ikjot Singh while Harshit, Bhavesh, Hariom, Aman, Jagjot and Arpit clinched bronze medal. Humanity Public School secured first position in medal tally. The medal winners were honoured in the special assembly by the principal of the school, Gaurav Charak and Anku Charak, vice-principal.     

Annual sports day at KV No 1 

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) No 1, Udhampur, celebrated its annual sports day with enthusiasm. Sports captain of the school, Riya and students took an oath during the ceremony. It was followed by sports competitions. An enthralling tug of war and musical chair competition was also held between the students and teachers. The dignitaries present on the occasion were all praise for the successful conduct of the programme. 

UN envoy visits Lawrence school

Dr Dominic Shellard, a United Nation (UN) envoy and ex-Vice Chancellor, De Mont Fort University, United Kingdom, along with Lousie Pinsent, secretary, Theseus Global Education, United Kingdom, on Sunday reviewed the ongoing work on the UN 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) at Lawrence Public School. The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dingnitaries. Later, a detailed power point presentation was presented by Mitalli Pandita showcasing the work done in the past few months by the students of Lawrence Public School on SDGs goal.
