Sukhbir condemns incident

Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today condemned the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Jalandhar.

Talking to mediapersons at Apra in Phillaur subdivision during a Sangat Darshan programme, he said such heinous acts deserve widespread condemnation, adding that the culprits should be given exemplary punishment.

Earlier, he distributed grants for development works among 81 panchayats of Phillaur and Rurka Kalan blocks. On the demand of local residents, he ordered officials to frame a proposal for bus stands at Goraya and Phillaur.
