The DSP said the investigation revealed that the deceased had hired Bittu and Vinay for allegedly attacking a Jind resident Sunil Kapoor over a business rivalry.

The police official said Bittu claimed that Bhupinder had promised to pay Rs 50,000 and a car for attacking Kapoor. However, the accused killed Bhupinder when the deceased refused to give the car, said the DSP.

He said the teams had been formed to arrest Vinay and the accused would be questioned to know if more people were involved in the crime.
