Vishavjeet scored nine points, while Ratinder and Anupreet added six each to help Shivalik School (Patiala) log a 26-24 win over Guru Gobind School (Mohali) in the ongoing CBSE Cluster XVII Basketball (U-17) Tournament, at PML SD Public School (Sector 32), here. 

Chitkara School (Sector 25) drubbed down Shemrock School (Mohali) 52-10 in the second match of the day. Pankaj and Sahil scored 10 points each while Saransh added five in Chitkara’s win. 

Learning Paths School (Mohali) defeated Shivalik School (Patiala) 43-19 in another one-sided match. Tanvsh (10 points), Manvir (5 points) and Gurkaran (5 points) confirm an easy win for Learning Paths School. Aniket (10 points) and Krishan (5 points) reduced the margin for Shivalik School. 

Vivek High School (Sector 38) won the last match of the day by defeating St Soldier (Mohali) 49-32. 

Gurdey scripted the team's win by contributing 16 points, while Arjun (11 points) and Tejbir (9 points) were the other best performers. Harman and Yuvraj scored 10 points each for St Soldier team.
