Waste mgmt plant in G’gram vetted

CHANDIGARH: Justice (retd) Pritam Pal, chairperson of the NGT-appointed monitoring committee for solid waste management plan, recently visited the Bandhwari plant in Gurugram.



Chandigarh, May 20

Justice (retd) Pritam Pal, chairperson of the NGT-appointed monitoring committee for solid waste management plan, recently visited the Bandhwari plant in Gurugram.

He inaugurated a lechate storage tank and inspected the treatment plant. He was briefed about garbage and lechate treatment.

He was informed about the ballastic separation method of waste sorting. He was accompanied by Samir Pal Srow, Director of the Urban Local Bodies Department. — TNS
