A play, ‘Do Vardiya’, was staged at Balwant Gargi Theatre on the ninth day of Natyam National Theatre Festival on Friday. The play showcased the difference between uniforms of policemen and armed forces personnel.

Artistes depicted that although people see police and military personnel from different perspectives, there are good personnel in the Police Department as well who set examples for others.

In the comical play, the artistes used satires and jokes on different sections of society. They used the satire on self-proclaimed godmen, singers who use cuss words in their songs. The play was staged by Haryana Sanskrtik Sangthan and it was directed by Jagbir Rathi.
