BATHINDA: Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira on Wednesday campaigned in favour of Congress candidate Amrinder Singh Raja Warring in various villages of Bathinda district .

Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira on Wednesday campaigned in favour of Congress candidate Amrinder Singh Raja Warring in various villages of Bathinda district .

Zira campaigned in Sardargarh, Karamgarh Satara, Virk Khurd, Virk Kalan, Bhisiana, Burj Mehma, Deon Khurd, Budladhewala villages and Bazigar Basti in the district.

Addressing a public gathering, Zira said, “Raja Warring does not have parents, so become his parents and make him win. He is your son and is a common man like us. He had no approach in politics and started his career from the grassroots level.”

Lashing out at the Union Government, Zira said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised Rs15 lakh. Did anyone receive the money?”

He said in 2014, people had high hopes of getting Rs15 lakh in their accounts, but they fell in a trap by electing Modi.

Meanwhile, Warring campaigned in 20 villages of Mansa district. He held public meetings at Burj Chibber, Rar, Akalian, Joga, Ralla, Makha Chahal, Anoopgarh, Alisher Kalan, Alisher Khurd, Mojo Kalan, Mojo Khurd, Matti, Atla Khurd, Atla Khurd, Bhupal Plant, Bhupal Kalan, Kotra, Khiali Kalan, Malakpur Khiyala, Khiala Khurd and Bhikhi villages.

His wife Amrita Warring also attended public meetings in the Bucho Assembly segment.
