BATHINDA: Two persons have been killed in two road accidents while two others suffered injuries in Bathinda district.

Two persons have been killed in two road accidents while two others suffered injuries in Bathinda district.

As per an FIR registered at the Rama police station, Gurdeep Singh of Chak Heera Singhwala village alleged that his brother Kuldeep Singh (48) was going near Jajjal village on a motorcycle on Saturday.

Gurjinder Singh allegedly rammed his motorcycle into his motorcycle and losing control, the latter fell down and died on the spot.

A case under Sections 304A, 279 and 427 of the IPC has been registered against the accused at the Rama police station.

In another incident, Dharminder Dass, a resident of Chandsar Basti, has lodged a complaint that he, along with his father Bugan, was walking on the Kishori Lal road when an unidentified motorcyclist hit his father who died on the spot. This incident took place on November 16.

A case under Sections 304-A and 279 of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified person at the Civil Lines police station.

Another case has been registered in which a couple was injured in a road mishap outside Ganpati Enclave last month.

In a complaint lodged by Gurjit Singh, a resident of Naruana, it has been stated that on October 9, he, along with his wife, was going on a motorcycle outside Ganpati Enclave when accused Inderjit Singh, a resident of Amarpura Basti, hit his motorcycle with his car.

A case under Sections 279, 337, 338 and 427 of the IPC has been registered against the accused at the Canal Colony police station.
