30-yr-old dies of dengue

BATHINDA: A 30-year-old man died of suspected dengue fever on Monday morning.

A 30-year-old man died of suspected dengue fever on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Rajinder Kumar, a resident of Balluana village in Bathinda district.

Kumar was preparing for competitive entrance exam at Ganganagar in Rajasthan and had come to his house in Bathinda on Thursday. When he came to his village, he had mild fever. 

Harbans, father of the deceased, said, “After dengue fever, we got our son admitted to a private hospital in the city. As his condition worsened, the hospital staff asked us to visit the government hospital in Faridkot. He had been admitted to the hospital since Saturday. Around 9:30 am on Monday, he died.”

Rajinder was unmarried and had completed his MBA recently. After completing the formalities at the hospital, he was cremated in the afternoon.
