Bathinda teachers protest transfer delay

Bathinda: ETT Teachers’ Union members staged a protest against postponing of primary school teachers’ transfers. Protests were also held in different blocks at Bhagta, Talwandi Sabo, Rampura and Goniana. Union president Gurjit Singh said, “The government’s decision to first order the transfers of teachers and now postponing these has irked primary teachers across the state.” TNS

Chandigarh: Basant Kumar Jindal of Sangrur, who is working as Deputy Chief Engineer at Lehra Mohabbat Thermal Plant, PSPCL, has been promoted as Chief Engineer. He has been posted as Chief Engineer (Planning) at Patiala. TNS
