Bathinda’s Navneet Kaur secures 111th rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam

Navneet, who hails from Omaxe City on Goniana Road in Bathinda, said becoming a civil servant had been her childhood dream.
“I always wanted to join the bureaucracy and work for society and open libraries,” Navneet said while talking to The Tribune.

She completed her BA (English Honours) from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, and later pursued an MA in English from Jamia Millia Islamia.
Navneet prepared for the exam through the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) of Jamia Millia Islamia, where she received free coaching.
Her father Jaswant Singh and mother Parminder Kaur are both government school teachers, while her younger brother is pursuing B.Tech in Delhi.
With her rank, Navneet is hopeful of joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or the Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
