Civic body issues fogging schedule for city

Bathinda, May 6

The Municipal Corporation Bathinda (MCB) has issued the fogging schedule to control vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria.

In a press statement issued here on Monday, Municipal Commissioner Dr Rishipal Singh said fogging would start at 7 am daily and appealed to the residents that during fogging, everyone must keep their windows and doors open to get effective results of fogging.

On May 7, areas like Bhatti Road, Thakur Colony, Ambedkar Nagar, Municipal Colony, Jiwi Nagar, Hazura Kapura colony till street number 9 left side of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar street, Rose Garden, Joggers Park, Pukhraj Colony, Minocha Colony, Ghanaiya Nagar, Valmiki Basti, Model Town phase 2, Beant Nagar, Kacha Dhobiana and Dhobiana Basti area will be covered.

Similarly, on May 8, Guru Ki Nagari, Civil Hospital, House Fed Colony, regional centre, Hazi Rattan Gurdwara, Bharat Nagar, Patel Nagar, Green Avenue, Jujhar Singh Nagar, Partap Nagar, Harbans Nagar, SAS Nagar, Labh Singh chowk, Hans Nagar, Model town phase-1, Radio Colony, Harbans Colony, Sant Nagar and Mati Dass Nagar will be covered.

On May 9, Ahata Madhokpura, Fish Market, Ahata Sikandarpura, Veer Colony, Namdev Nagar, Arya Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Ajit Road, Ghore Wala Chowk, Power House Road till left side of 100 ft road, Bibi Wala Road right side area, Alam Basti, Dubey Colony, left side area of Paras Ram Nagar, Partap Nagar right side area, Sanguana Basti, Naruana Road left side streets, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Dasmesh Nagar, Pratap Dhillon Colony and Pipia Wali Street will be covered.

On May 10, Baba Deep Singh Nagar, Balraj Nagar, Nachatar Nagar, Dump, Sheesh Mahal Colony, Mansa Road backside Mahindra agency, Powerhouse Road from street number 6 to left side area, Ajit Road right side area, Guru Arjun Dev Nagar, Shiv Mandir, Preet Nagar, Amarpura Basti, Mehna Basti, Bangi Nagar, Udham Singh Nagar, Ganpati Enclave, Thermal Colony, Joginanda Road, Kothe Amarpure and Kothe Hakam Singh will be covered.
