Farm labourer dies in fields

MALOUT: A 20-year-old farm labourer on Tuesday reportedly died operating a rotavator machine at Rathrian village here.

A 20-year-old farm labourer on Tuesday reportedly died operating a rotavator machine at Rathrian village here.

Deceased Akash Kumar was sowing wheat in the fields when the mishap occurred. He was taken to a hospital, but the doctors declared him brought dead.

The police have started inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC. The body was handed over to the family after conducting post-mortem.
