In a heartfelt tribute to Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh, alias Sidhu Moosewala, a young fitness enthusiast from Khai Pheme Ki village in Ferozepur district, undertook an extraordinary journey.

Sandeep Singh Sidhu completed a 165-km run over two days from his village to Moosa village, the native place of the singer, in Mansa district. The initiative, titled "Run to Moosa - Tribute Run for the Legend", was his personal way of paying homage to the iconic artist.

Along the way, Sandeep also braved the rain. He was later joined in this effort by two other youngsters from Goniana village in Bathinda district.

Upon reaching Moosa village at about 10 am on Sunday, the runners were warmly received and honoured by Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, and mother, Charan Kaur.

Addressing the youth, Balkaur Singh encouraged them to continue channeling their energy into positive and meaningful efforts. He also expressed gratitude for their tribute, acknowledging the deep connection fans continue to feel with his son.

Moosewala was shot dead at Jawaharke village in Mansa district on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28.
