Tarn Taran, January 15
An unidentified person was run over by a moving train near the Bhagtanwala railway station on Monday night.
The Government Railways Police (GRP) had initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), said ASI Jaswant Singh. He said the train was coming from Amritsar.
The body has been sent to the local Civil Hospital where it will be kept for 72 hours.
