Mid-day meal ration stolen from school

BATHINDA: Ration meant for mid-day meal was stolen on August 8 from government school at Kararwala village here.

Ration meant for mid-day meal was stolen on August 8 from government school at Kararwala village here. This was confirmed after a case in this regard was registered by the police on Saturday.

In a complaint lodged by Bahadur Singh, a teacher at Government High School, Kararwala village, he stated that on August 8, some unidentified person had stolen 2 quintals of wheat and 50 kg of rice meant for mid-day meal from the school. A case was registered after a probe today.

A case under Section 380 of the IPC has been registered against an unidentified person at the Rampura Sadar police station.
