Bathinda: District Congress Committee (DCC) members and party workers staged protests against fuel price hike at several districts across the state. In Bathinda and Amritsar, they submitted memorandum of demands to the Deputy Commissioner.

Arun Wadhawan, president, DCC, Bathinda, said it was a peaceful demonstration with minimum workers in attendance to avoid large gathering. “Fuel prices have seen an unprecedented increase recently, which should be rolled back,” he said. TNS
