After some torn pages of a ‘gutka sahib’ were found in a street at Baba Deep Singh Nagar in Bathinda on Saturday, the police and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials have started a probe in this regard.

Baba Tek Singh Dhanaula, Jathedar of the Takht Damdama Sahib, also visited the spot today and claimed that certain agencies appeared to be behind such incidents.

“I think the agencies don’t even want us to keep holy scriptures in our houses and are thus indulging in such acts,” he said.
