SAD flags oxygen ‘shortage’ at Bathinda AIIMS

Bathinda, May 20

Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal today flagged the issue of oxygen shortage at AIIMS-Bathinda, and the high price of the cylinders.

Harsimrat raised the issue by posting on social media. She wrote, “AIIMS-Bathinda has only a day’s supply of O2 left for 70 critical Covid patients. With the highest death rate in Bathinda, oxygen is crucial to save their lives.”

However, Bathinda Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan said, “Adequate oxygen is been given to AIIMS and there is no issue pertaining to it.” — TNS
