Bathinda, November 12

Players from across the district gave good performances during the inter-district school games here on Monday. The matches were played at Government Rajindra College, Bathinda, here on the third day.

In handball, the Amritsar team defeated the Hoshiarpur team in a one-sided match 31-10. In another match, Ferozepur defeated Muktsar 28-12.

In hockey, Patiala defeated Gurdaspur 3-0 and the match between Hoshiarpur and Amritsar ended in a draw. Mohali was defeated by Fatehgarh Sahib 9-0. In a match between Patiala and Moga, the latter managed to win 3-2. The match between Faridkot and Barnala was a goalless draw.

In another match, the Patiala team defeated Bathinda 4-0. Amritsar defeated Barnala 4-0 and Mansa defeated SBS Nagar 1-0. Ludhiana defeated Mansa 3-2.
