Muktsar: Bariwala police have booked six persons of Smagh village for allegedly assaulting their village sarpanch Makhan Singh and his brother Gurdas Singh on Saturday.



Muktsar: Bariwala police have booked six persons of Smagh village for allegedly assaulting their village sarpanch Makhan Singh and his brother Gurdas Singh on Saturday. In his complaint to the police, Gurdas Singh alleged that some people were assaulting his brother outside their residence on Saturday night and when he came out, they thrashed him too. Those booked are Jaspal Singh, Angrez Singh, Resham Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Harmesh Singh and Sikander Singh. A case has been registered in this regard. The accused are yet to be arrested. TNS
