Tech varsity scholar wins award

BATHINDA: A research scholar from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) won second position for research work done in Pharmacognosy at Arogya Sangoshthi Conference organised at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar.

A research scholar from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) won second position for research work done in Pharmacognosy at Arogya Sangoshthi Conference organised at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar.

Ph.D scholar Preet Amol Singh of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology has won the second best research work prize in the conference that was sponsored by the ministry of AYUSH.

As many as 400 e-posters were presented by the participants from all over India in which Preet Amol Singh’s paper titled ‘A Novel Technique to Authenticate Spices using Computational Approaches’ has won him second prize in the category of Pharmacognosy.

Preet Amol Singh has also won the best research work prize out of 1,400 accepted scientific abstracts in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry category at APTICON-2018 conference.— TNS
