Tributes paid to Swami Vivekananda

BATHINDA: The NSS wing of the Central University of Punjab celebrated National Youth Day by visiting Hussainiwala border in Ferozepur on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The NSS wing of the Central University of Punjab celebrated National Youth Day by visiting Hussainiwala border in Ferozepur on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

During the visit, the NSS wing presented a pictorial compilation of Swami Vivekananda to Indian soldiers and witnessed the Indo-Pak Retreat Ceremony.

NSS wing head and Law Department head Dr Deepak Chauhan mentioned that the objective of the trip was to acquaint young students with the efforts made by our freedom fighters to get Independence and inculcate in them a feeling of nationalism.

On the occasion, Dr Preeti Khetarpal, Deputy Registrar Shweta Arora, Narinder Bassi and NSS volunteers were present.
