Two booked for snatching phone



Bathinda: The police have booked two persons for allegedly snatching a mobile phone from a person on the Mall road. Complainant Kartik Jain, a resident of Vasant Vihar, told the police that on September 29, two persons, Harvinder Singh and Bittu Singh of Mehraj village, came on a motorcycle and took away his mobile phone. He said the incident took place at the entrance of the cloth market on the Mall road. A case under Section 379-B of the IPC has been registered at the Kotwali police station. However, no arrest has been made so far. TNS
