Year on, no high beam challan in Muktsar

Not a single traffic challan was issued for violation of high beam norms in Muktsar district between January 1 and October 26 last year, as per information procured under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. The use of high beam within the city limits is a traffic violation.

The information was sought by advocate Anurag Sharma, a local resident, who expressed concern over the lack of enforcement despite frequent road accidents in the district. He said stricter action could significantly reduce road mishaps.
