Students of Bhavan’s Muskaan, a school for children with disabilities, won big at the recently concluded Punjab State Special Olympics. The 22nd edition of the sports tournament was held in Mohali from November 22 to 24.
Bhavan’s Muskaan students Ashveen, Mannat, Anushka and Amaraj, bagged two gold, two silver and four bronze medals in track and field events. The four participating students had earlier performed well in the district sports events. “With this achievement, our students have proved that their limitations are no longer a hindrance in proving their skill and talent,” said Anita Bhalla, principal. She extended her heartiest congratulations to the winners.
